Friends of the Los Angeles River is a nonprofit organization founded in 1986. FOLAR works to protect and restore the natural and historic heritage of the Los Angeles River and its riparian habitat through inclusive planning, education and wise stewardship.
 foodforward Food Forward
Food Forward’s mission is to connect people with people by bringing together volunteers and neighbors to share in the gleaning and distributing of locally grown food from private homes and public spaces. The food is then distributed to local food pantries and organizations, serving those in need.

Hollywood Orchard
To better neighborhood quality of life by operating a community orchard that is a teaching model for sustainability through its workshops on growing fruit locally, and sharing the food in open-air events held in the Beachwood Canyon community, outreach communities, and food-charity organizations.
 Honey Love Honey Love
HoneyLove is a Los Angeles based 501(c) 3 non-profit conservation organization with a mission to protect the honeybees by educating our communities and inspiring new urban beekeepers.
 Muir Ranch Muir Ranch
Muir Ranch, a Pasadena school garden, offers farm boxes & floral bouquets that provide paid internships, creating a better future for students & the community. Muir Ranch is fiscally sponsored by the Pasadena Educational Foundation, a 501(c) (3) corporation. CSA subscriptions are 50% tax deductible.
